RULE UPDATE -
6/06/09
In the Drivetrain section of the rule book, rule #4 states that the , Rear end must be stock, No limited slip or lockers.
The rule is intended to only allow ‘open’ rear ends to compete in the NEMST. This rule is in place due to the high cost of ‘locking up’ some of the cars that race the tour.
The NEMST and its officials just wanted to clarify the rule and its intention before getting to far into the season.
